Abrogation

Given that Mohammad could never be wrong there had to be a way to handle when he changed his mind. He cites  hearing new revelations from Allah to suit his new circumstances.  Within the Quran and the Hadiths: there are  contradictory verses.   Abrogan is a key term in studying the Quran. There are some peaceful, tolerant verses in the Quran. But the violent, intolerant ones have abrogated them. The Quran itself explains what to do with conflicting verses. If two passages conflict, it says, the one written later is better than the one written earlier. The earlier passage has been abrogated by the later one. They are both true but the latter is MORE TRUE

Abrogation is the fundamental reason why Muslims can think they follow a religion of peace (and they are right) and why others believe you will please Allah if you force Kafirs to convert or behead them

Apostasy

Apostasy in Islam  is commonly defined as the conscious abandonment of Islam by a Muslim in word or through deed.[It includes the act of converting to another religion, by a person who was born in a Muslim family or who had previously accepted Islam. The definition of apostasy from Islam and its appropriate punishment of death are controversial.

Apostasy in Islam includes within its scope not only the wilful renunciation of Islam by a Muslim through a declaration of their renunciation of the Islamic faith , or if lacking a declaration, then by specific deed of undergoing the rites of conversion into another religion, but also even denying, or merely questioning, any “fundamental tenet or creed” of Islam, such as the divinity of God, prophethood of Muhammad, or mocking God, or worshipping one or more idols

Dhimmi

In a similar manner to the Jewish reference to a non-Jew as being a goy, so too the termdhimmi refers to non-Muslims. However unlike the Jewish term, goy, and much more important, the dhimmi is a distinctly subjugated second class non-citizen almost slave who is subjected to dictatorial deprivation of any legal and human rights since he is a non-Muslim permanent resident in a Muslim state.  Some Rules for Dimmis

Jihad

  • In a religious sense, as described by the Quran and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (s), “jihad” has many meanings. It can refer to internal as well as external efforts to be a good Muslims or believer, as well as working to inform people about the faith of Islam.
  • If military jihad is required to protect the faith against others, it can be performed using anything from legal, diplomatic and economic to political means. If there is no peaceful alternative, Islam also allows the use of force, but there are strict rules of engagement. Innocents – such as women, children, or invalids – must never be harmed, and any peaceful overtures from the enemy must be accepted. source

Kafir

The word “non-Muslim” is used in the translation of Sharia law, but the actual Arabic word used is “Kafir”. But the word Kafir means far more than non-Muslim. The original meaning of the word was “concealer”, one who conceals the truth of Islam.

The Koran says that the Kafir may be deceived, plotted against, hated, enslaved, mocked, tortured and worse. The word is usually translated as “unbeliever” but this translation is wrong. The word “unbeliever” is logically and emotionally neutral, whereas, Kafir is the most abusive, prejudiced and hateful word in any language.

There are many religious names for Kafirs: polytheists, idolaters, People of the Book (Christians and Jews), Buddhists, atheists, agnostics, and pagans. Kafir covers them all, because no matter what the religious name is, they can all be treated the same. What Mohammed said and did to polytheists can be done to any other category of Kafir.Source

Sykes – Picot Agreement

The Sykes–Picot Agreement /ˈsaɪks pi.ko/, officially known as the Asia Minor Agreement, was a secret agreement between the governments of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and the French Third Republic,[1] with the assent of the Russian Empire, defining their proposed spheres of influence and control in Southwestern Asia should the Triple Entente succeed in defeating the Ottoman Empire during World War I. The negotiation of the treaty occurred between November 1915 and March 1916,[2] the agreement was signed on 16 May 1916,[3] and was exposed to the public in the The Manchester Guardian on November 26, 1917.

The Agreement is considered to have shaped the region, defining the borders of Iraq and Syria and leading to the current conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.[4]

Britain was allocated control of areas roughly comprising the coastal strip between the Mediterranean Sea and River Jordan, Jordan, southern Iraq, and a small area including the ports of Haifa and Acre, to allow access to the Mediterranean.[5] France was allocated control of southeastern Turkey, northern Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.[5] Russia was to get Istanbul, the Turkish Straits and Armenia.[5] The controlling powers were left free to decide on state boundaries within these areas.[5] Further negotiation was expected to determine international administration pending consultations with Russia and other powers, including Hussein bin Ali, Sharif of Mecca.[5]
